Artist Picture Manager

The Artist Picture Manager is a tool which helps you to quickly manage your artist pictures.
This tool is very similar to the Album Picture Manager.

Using the Artist Picture Manager

Start the Artist Picture Manager by clicking Tools | Download artist pictures... from the main menu.

When the Artist Picture Manager window opens up you will see a list to the left containing a small version of the Music Explorer with the following groupings:

Entire Library displays all artists in your Library.
My Folders enables you to browse through your folders in your Library.
Artist, Album, Title, Release Year and Recording Year enables you to browse through your Library grouped by the selected item.
Active Selection displays the artists from your active selection.

The main pane in the tool will display artists as thumbnails from your active selection in the left list.

Downloading artist pictures

To download artist pictures for the artists displayed in the main pane, simply click the Download Pictures button.

When pictures are downloaded for an artist, you can hover over the artist and browse through the results with the left and right arrow icons that appears.
A few other controls will also appear when hovering over the artist:

Padlock icon: Lock/unlock the artist - When an artist is locked, pictures will not be downloaded for this artist.
Magnifying glass icon: View fullsize picture enables you to view the selected artist picture at its full size.
Folder icon: Load picture from disc enables you to load a specific picture from disc.

Filtering information

You can take advantage of the filter controls to display artists with or without pictures.
This can be useful when you would like to manage a few specific artists.

Saving changes

To save the changes, click the Save changes button.

Please note that no changes will be applied until you click this button.
