Burn Audio CD

The Burn Audio CD tool burns your music files to Audio CD discs.

Starting the Burn Audio CD tool

The Burn Audio CD tool can be started in two ways:

• With files in the track list:

  Select the files to burn from the track list and start the Burn Audio CD tool using any of the methods below:

  • Right click any of the selected files and select the Tools > Burn Audio CD menu option.
  • Click on Tools > Burn Audio CD from the main menu.
  • Click the Tools > Burn Audio CD option on the toolbar if present.

• Without files in the track list:

  Start the Burn Audio CD tool using any of the methods below:

  • Right click on an empty spot in the track list and select the Tools > Burn Audio CD menu option .
  • Click on Tools > Burn Audio CD  from the main menu.
  • Click the Tools > Burn Audio CD option on the toolbar if present.

Burning an Audio CD

1. Click the Add Files button  to add additional tracks.
2. Insert a blank CD into you CD/DVD writer.
3. Optionally change the selected Drive for burning in the Device list at the top of the dialog and burning Speed.
4. Optionally change additional burning options under the Advanced menu.
   
5. Click Burn to start the burning.

Note:

• Click the Test mode (simulate burning) if you would like to do a test burning from the Advanced menu.
• Click the Erase Disc from the Advanced menu (with a CD-RW disc inserted) to erase (format) the CD-RW disc before writing to it.
• The space information bar displays how much available space there is on the disc. Used space is displayed in green and unused space is displayed in white.
• Select tracks in the track list and click the Remove button  to remove tracks from the list.
• Click the Fill disc button  to fill up the remaining space on the disc with random tracks from your database.
• The Burn Audio CD tool supports all file formats that can be added to the Helium Music Manager database. File formats not natively recognized by the tool will be temporarily converted to wave file format before being burned. These temporary files will be removed upon successful burning of the Audio CD disc.
