Burn Data CD
The Burn Data CD Wizard burns your music files to Data CD/DVD discs.
Starting the Burn Data CD/DVD tool
The Burn Data CD Wizard can be started by clicking Tools > Burn Data CD/DVD from the main menu.
Burning an Data CD/DVD
- Insert a blank CD/DVD into your CD/DVD Writer.
- Create a new folder by clicking the New Folder button. The new folder will be created as a child to the selected folder in the Folders list. To create a root folder, select the first item (this represents the CD/DVD).
- Change the name of a folder by selecting the folder you would like to change the name for and either press F2 or right click and select Rename. Change the CD label by selecting the first item and pressing F2 or right click and select Rename. By default the CD/DVD label will be set to today's date/time.
- Click the Remove button to remove a selected folder with its subfolders. If there are files selected, the remove button will remove the selected files.
- Click the Add Files... button to add one or more files, with or without an existing folder structure using the Select Tracks dialog.
- Optionally select burning options from the Advanced menu and set the burn Speed.
- Click the Burn button to start the burning.
Note:
- Click the Test mode (simulate burning) if you would like to do a test burning from the Advanced menu.
- Click the Erase Disc from the Advanced menu (with a CD-RW/CD+RW/DVD-RW/DVD+RW disc inserted) to erase (format) the disc before writing to it.
- The space information bar displays how much available space there is on the disc. Used space is displayed in green and unused space is displayed in white.
