Content Filter
The Content Filter is used to filter out tracks shown in the track list. This is useful when you have many of tracks in the track list and just want to show tracks which contain certain information that you are interested in.
Helium Music Manager comes with two different versions of the Content Filter, one divided into three vertical lists and one which is similar to a query filter.
Using the Content Filter (Simple version)
This is the default content filter and is enabled when the option Simple Content Filter Interface is ticked in 'Options | Views | General'.
- Show the Content Filter by clicking View > Content Filter from the main menu.
- Select an entry in the leftmost column. The middle column now displays tracklist entries matching the entry selected in the leftmost column.
- Select an entry in the middle column. The rightmost column is now updated to show entries from the tracklist only matching the selections in the leftmost and the middle columns.
- Select an entry in the rightmost column to display tracklist entries which match the selections in all three columns.
Note:
- The Content Filter is updated based on your current Left Sidebar selection.
- You do not need to select entries in all three columns.
- When you select a column, the tracklist is automatically updated.
- Select the topmost entry in a column (named All) to include all matches for that column.
- You can change which database field each column should represent by right-clicking the column header and selecting the appropriate field from the context menu.
- You can change the width of each column as well the height of the Content Filter.
- The Content Filter can be dragged and docked in several locations, including:
- At the top or bottom of the Left hand sidebar
- Just above the Track List
