Convert between formats
Helium Music Manager comes with a tool which will allow you to very quickly convert one or more files from any audio format Helium Music Manager supports into one of the following formats:
- AAC
- FLAC
- M4A
- MP3
- MP4
- MPC
- Ogg Vorbis
- WAVE
- WAVPack
- WMA
The destination audio formats can be configured with various options such as bitrate, constant/variable bitrate as well as replaygain information (audio-volume normalization).
Both the audio-data and the meta-data (tags) will be converted from the source files to the destination files during this process.
This tool is ideal to use for example when you have an album in lossless audio format in your Library which you would like to listen to on an external device which does not support that format. Just select the lossless files, select the output format and perform the conversion!
