Coverflow

The Coverflow is a Content Mode which enables you to quickly flip through your albums.

Switch to the Coverflow mode by selecting either View > Panes > Content Pane > Coverflow from the main menu or by clicking the Coverflow button on Navigation Bar.

The Coverflow content mode can be used from the following views in Helium Music Manager:

  • Music Explorer
  • Artists
  • Albums
  • Playlists
  • Search View

The Coverflow mode will by default use the original album picture to display a cover in preference to the thumbnailed version stored in Helium Music Managers database.

The original album picture is generally of higher quality than the thumbnailed version, which is always 128*128 pixels.

If you don't see any images in the Coverflow mode your links to the original album picture may be incorrect. You can easily correct this from the Album Picture Manager.

Using the Coverflow mode

Switch to Coverflow mode from the Content Mode buttons.

Any previously listed items in the content pane will now be shown as 3-D albums in the Coverflow mode.

Navigate through the albums with the arrow keys, end, home or by clicking an album with the mouse. You can also navigate through your albums with the mouse wheel on your mouse.

When an album is selected, the tracks are shown in a track details list below the album.
