Create or edit a playlist

Playlists are available in the left sidebar of the Music Explorer.

Creating a new playlist

1. Right click on the Playlists entry in the Music Explorer tree and select New playlist.
2. Read more about the properties in this dialog under the Modifying properties section below.

Edit an existing playlist

1. Right click a playlist under the Playlists entry in the Music Explorer tree and select Edit playlist.
2. Read more about the properties in this dialog under the Modifying properties section below.

Modifying properties

1. Enter a name for the playlist in the Playlist Name field. If you enter a name that already exists, a visual warning will be shown. It is not allowed to have multiple playlists with the same name.

2. Optionally, enter a comment for the playlist in the Comment field.

3. If you have the Network version of Helium Music Manager you can optionally select the Shared playlist option to share this playlist with other users. This will make it available to all other users created in Helium Music Manager and can be reached from Helium Music Manager or any of the additional apps, such as the Helium Streamer for iPhone, Windows Phone or Android.

4. Click OK to save the playlist.

Note

• Each playlist must have a unique name
• In the Network edition of Helium Music Manager, playlists and their folder structure is stored per-user so that all users of the same Helium Music Manager Library will have their own Playlists and folders. Playlists can also be shared between users, if wanted.
