This dialog contains controls to edit information about a specific artist such as an image of the artist, biography , home country, several types of relations to other artist/groups and more.
Enter or edit text for the artist's biography. The text can be formatted using the bold and italic buttons.
To format the text, select the text you would like to format and then click the desired formatting button. To remove all formatting from the selected text, right click the the selected text and click Remove Formatting context-menu item.
The links button enables you to create hyperlinks from words in the text to other Music Browser pages. You can create links to the following Music Browser pages:
Here is a list of the information that can be added for an artist.
Click the Advanced > Apply... button to apply the following fields to tags for all files from the selected artist available in your Database:
Biography
Artist Picture
Artist Sort Order
Webpage
Click the Download button to download artist data from the installed plug-ins.
Select which data you would like to download from the drop-down menu.
There are five types of artist relations available for editing from the edit artist dialog. Select the relation type you want to edit by clicking one of the tabs at the top.
The following artist relation types are available:
To add a new relation, either enter the name of the artist in the edit-control (separate artists with newlines) or click the Get Artist... button to select a specific artist that exists in your database.
When downloading artist information, some of the plug-ins will fill in relations automatically for you.
You can link YouTube videos to an artist/group. To link videos, click the Videos tab and then click Add Video from the bottom toolbar.
A new dialog will open where you will enter:
Title - The title of the video
YouTube URL - The URL to the video. The format of the URL is shown in the dialog.
