Favourites

Favourites in Helium Music Manager allow you to quickly identify which Tracks, Albums and Artists are your favourites.

Use the ‘Edit > Favourites’ menu to manage your favourites. This menu is available from the main menu or via the context menus (right mouse click) in the Track List and Album/Artist browsers Left-Side Bar.

The Favourites can be viewed by selecting the Favourites node in the Music Explorer Left-Side Bar and choosing one of the sub nodes: Tracks, Artists or Albums.

The Album Browser, Album Details and Album Thumbnails views indicates if an album is marked as a favourite by displaying a icon. The Artist Browser displays the same icon for artists that are marked as favourites.

The three favourite categories are totally independent. So adding an album to the Albums favourites will not add the tracks from that album to the Tracks favourites. Likewise adding an artist to the Artists favourites will not add that artist’s albums or tracks to the Albums or Tracks favourites.

The functions available from the ‘Edit > Favourites’ menu are:

  • Add Track
Will add the selected tracks to the Favourites > Tracks node.
  • Remove Track
Will remove the selected tracks from the Favourites > Tracks node if they are present.
  • Add Album
Will add the selected albums to the Favourites > Albums node.
  • Remove Album
Will remove the selected albums from the Favourites > Albums node if they are present.
  • Add Artist
Will add the selected artists to the Favourites > Artists node.
  • Remove Artist
Will remove the selected artists from the Favourites > Artists node if they are present.

Note: The context menu in the Album Browser Left-Side Bar only offers Add Album and Remove Album, likewise the context menu in the Artist Browser Left-Side Bar only offers Add Artist and Remove Artist.
  • These favourites can also be accessed from Helium Music Streamer’s home page.
