File Properties

The Properties tool launchs a dialog displaying various properties from the selected file.

You will be able to see various properties for the selected file such as:

If the file is available or not
Created, Accessed and Modified date
Read-only and hidden attribute status
Song-information (length, bitrate, frequency and more)
Played statistics such as Play counter and when the file was last played
If the file exists in the database of not
Which playlists the file is contained in
Which user categories the file is contained in
Detailed file and tag information
View and manage attached pictures (available for the file formats supporting attached pictures)

Showing file properties

From any Browser, select a file from the Track List.
Right click the file and select Properties or press CTRL+P.
To view detailed file and tag information, select the tab Detailed File & Tag Information.

Note
Detailed File & Tag Information will not be available for files that are unavailable.

Viewing and managing attached pictures

To view and manage attached pictures, change to the Attached Pictures tab. To add a new attached picture, click the Add Picture button. Not all file formats supports attached pictures, the file formats that support attached pictures are listed below:

MP3
WMA
FLAC
APEv2
M4A/M4B/M4P/MP4

When a file is opened, the attached pictures (if any) will be listed in the list of attached pictures.

To edit an existing attached picture, select the attached picture in the list and click the Edit Picture button.
To view the original picture (full size), select the attached picture in the list and click the View Original button.
To delete the selected pictures, click the Delete Pictures... button.

Note
M4A, M4B, M4P and MP4 files can only contain one attached picture. The type and description cannot be set for these file formats.
