Batch change album art filenames

Postby ParmaJohn » Tue Jan 26, 2010 8:28 am

How can I batch change album art filenames in the album directories? I have located the option that allows me to specify either "folder.jpg" or [artist]-[album].jpg for the album art, but my library is now full of a variety of artwork filenames. These graphics are not recognized by the Twonky Server that dishes up my music to the DLNA network.

I tried renaming the files for an album but, since the files were already correctly named nothing really changed--and the album art filename remained the same. Is there nothing that will allow me to force a name change to my currently selected naming convention (ie. force all album art to "folder.jpg")?

Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately there is no real way to let Helium batch change the filenames for the album pictures.

The only way that comes in my mind atm is to manually change the filesnames and then manually update the album picture location for the albums in Helium (rightclick on an album in the thumbnail view mode, picture | Add/Update).

Please consider to file a feature request for this over the contact form: http://www.helium-music-manager.com/contact-us/
