%ctr %tit should split it, or not?

The same problem I have with files like:

• 26. ¦+¸+í¦È ¦++¦ÃÏ ~ Live Mix ~.ogg
• 21. ÃÃ¥ã¦Ùè-ͦ¯ 1¦°.ogg
• 15. ¥ã-ºÃ³++¦ú (Long Version).ogg

Theoreticaly them can be splited by %ctr. %tit or another templates. But they can't be splitted by %tit to.

OK, that are not normal filenames, but there is something wrong with "FIle to Tags" function...

We are aware that the current solution does not support Unicode properly.
A new version that will support Unicode is currently being analyzed and will be introduced in Helium Music Manager as soon as it is defined to be working.

Hi there...

until v7.1 b8145 the FN2T works great for me, but since build 8215 it wont seperate the path/filename to the correct tags.

Example: For the Path
G:\MP3 Income\Artist - Albumtitle (CatalogNr)-2010\a1 artist - title.mp3
the userdefined Template
%aar - %alb (%cat)-%rly\%com %art - %tit
worked great...

Since build 8215 I recognized this.
- All my Userdefined Templates are gone
- after rebuilding my Templates the field Albumartist contains "G:\MP3 Income\Artist"
- the Field Comment contains "a1 Artist"
- Field Album contains "(Catalog Number) Albumtitle"

Any ideas how to fix this?

The current release candidate version (as well as the previous beta version) contains a totally rewritten filename to tag tool. As the title in this thread indicates it is to fully support unicode characters. We are aware of some problems in the current release and we will look into fixing them.

Please hold on until next release (or use the current stable release 7856) and the filename to tag should be fully functioning again.
