Introduction
We are pleased to announce the availability of Helium 2005 (Build 4592). This service release delivers corrective fixes as well as a few new additional minor features.
We recommend that all users of Helium 2005 upgrade to this version.
We also draw to our user’s attention that, as normal, it is strongly recommended that you perform a backup of Helium’s database prior to the upgrade: use File | Backup… process from the main menu.
We continue to focus our attention on consistency, stability and the ensuring of data integrity but yet again have taken the opportunity to add a few new minor features that our users have asked for.
New & enhanced functions and usability features
We have enhanced the picture functionality available in the Tag Editor. You will now find that all pictures are shown as thumbnails in a scrolling list, along with the associated dimensions.
You can now save ID3V2 BPM in PCDJ format – see Settings | General Settings | Tags | ‘Save BPM in PCDJ compatible mode’.
In The Track lists we have made numerical fields easier to read by right aligning them.
