Introduction
We are pleased to announce the availability of Helium 2005 (Build 4601). This Service Release mainly delivers corrective fixes.
We recommend that all users of Helium 2005 upgrade to this version.
We also draw to our user’s attention that, as normal, it is strongly recommended that you perform a backup of Helium’s database prior to the upgrade: use File | Backup… process from the main menu.
We continue to focus our attention on consistency, stability and the ensuring of data integrity. We have added two new minor features in this Service Release.
New & enhanced functions and usability features
We have added automatic conversion for attached pictures with incorrect mime types (for example picture is mime typed as a JPEG but is actually a BMP or GIF).
Vorbis Comments Rating compatibility has been improved by saving the rating in Helium's format as well as the more standardized format named ‘RATING’.
