About Templates
Introduction to Templates
Templates are used throughout Helium Music Manager's tools and wizard to
speed up the process of different tasks. A template contains information
of what a tool/wizard should do. Instead of performing the same task over
and over again you can use templates.
Tools/wizards using templates
- The File Rename
Wizard can save and load templates that define how you want to rename
your files and/or how you want your folders to be.
- The Tag Editor
uses templates to define the look of the Tag
Editor interface. You can add/remove fields and group them on different
pages.
- The Tag
Editor (Spreadsheet Mode) uses templates to define which editing fields
that should be active as well as their order.
- The Report
Wizard uses templates for creating reports. The template tells exactly
how the report should look and what information it should include.

Manager uses templates to define what actions that should be executed
on files.

Browser used templates for Album
Sorting and Grouping for easy switching between different layouts
in the Album Browser.

list uses templates for column layouts.
- The Advanced
Search uses templates to store predefined searches.
- The Add
Audio CD tool uses templates to define which editing fields that should
be active and their order.

tool uses templates to define which editing fields that should be active
and their order.
- The Add
Vinyl/Cassette tool uses templates to define which editing fields
that should be active and their order.

Synchronization tool uses templates for managing different device
(portable/static) layouts.

their order.
