Introduction to Advanced Download Options

The Advanced Download Options dialog is where you configure which plug-ins that should be used when downloading information from the Internet. You can also select which information that you would like to download.

Using the Advanced Download Options dialog

The Advanced Download Options dialog includes different plug-ins and selectable information for download depending on from where in the application you are downloading information from.

The dialog is divided into two lists, which are described below.

The upper list

The upper list contains the available plug-ins.

The order of the plug-ins tells in which order the plug-ins should be executed while downloading information. The topmost plug-in will be executed first, and if this plug-in finds the wanted information the download process will stop. If, however, the plug-in does not find the correct information, the next plug-in in the list will be executed automatically. You may re-order the list by selecting a plug-in and using the Move Up and Move Down buttons. Prioritize this list depending on your needs and preference of the available plug-in sources.

Enable or disable plug-ins in the list by selecting or deselecting the checkbox to the left of the plug-in name. A deselected plug-in will never be executed during a download operation.

Plug-in options are available for most plug-ins. You can modify options for a plug-in by selecting it in the list and clicking the Plugin Options button.

The lower list

The lower list contains a list of the information that is available for download. Select which information you want to download by selecting or deselecting the checkbox to the left of the information names.

The information available for download is different depending on the place from where you executed the download operation. These differences are explained below.

While downloading Artist Information

These options are available while downloading Artist information from the Artist Browser, Music Information Browser, the Edit Artist Information dialog or the Tag Editor.

Artist Picture
This will download a picture of the artist, if available from any of the selected plug-in sources.
Artist Information
This will download compatible artist information, if available from any of the plug-in sources. Artist information may include information such as:
- Born name
- Home Country
- AKA's
- Official Webpage
- Member of/group member
- etc...

Relations
This will download artist relations, if available from any of the selected plug-in sources. Artist relations supported by Helium Music Manager is listed below:
- Similar Artists
- Influenced By
- Followers
- See Also
- Performed Songs By
Discography
This will download a complete discography, if available from any of the selected plug-in sources. Discographies are listed on the Artist page in the Music Information Browser.

While downloading Album Information

These options are available while download Album information from the Album Browser, the Thumbnail View in the track list or the Tag Editor.

Album Picture
This will download a picture of the album, if available from any of the selected plug-in sources.
Album Review
This will download an album review, if available from any of the selected plug-in sources.

While downloading Track Information

While downloading Track Information from the Tag Editor or Tag Editor (spreadsheet mode) there are no options available for selection. All available track information will always be downloaded.
