Introduction to the Convert To Format tool

The Convert To Format tool is a tool which will help you to convert digital music of any format that are supported in Helium Music Manager to:

• WAVE

• MP3

• FLAC

• Ogg Vorbis

Using the Convert To Format tool

1. Select the file/files you would like to convert to a specific format from the Track List.

2. Click on File | Convert To... or select Convert To... from the right-click context menu.

3. Select the format you would like to convert the selected files to from the Convert To Format dropdown list.

4. Adjust the settings to fit your needs

5. Select where the converted files should be stored;
   
   Same folder as Original will store the files into the same folder as the source (selected) files, but with a different extension.
   
   Custom Folder will allow you to store the converted files to a custom folder, specified by clicking the Browse... button.

6. Checkmark Add the output files to the Database to automatically add the converted files to your database.

7. Click OK to start the conversion

The audio-data as well as the meta-data (tags) will be converted from the sourcefiles to the destination files during this process.
