Subtrack Splitter
Introduction
The Subtrack Splitter is used to extract all tracks from one main file,
tagged with subtrack tags. (Created with the Subtrack
Editor)
It will extract all tracks from the main file as single files.
Extracting tracks from a file with Subtracks
- Click Tools | Subtrack Splitter
from the main menu.
- Select the source file containing Subtracks by clicking
the topmost Browse...
button.
Please note that this file MUST contain CUE points.
- Select the destination folder for the extracted tracks
by clicking the second Browse...
button from the top.
- Click the Split button to
start extracting the subtracks.
Tips and tricks
- Source files encoded with Variable
Bitrate (VBR) cannot always be extracted 100% correctly. Always
make sure that you review the resulting tracks before you delete your
source file.
- The Subtrack Splitter only works with MP3
files containing subtrack tags with valid
CUE points.
