Introduction to the Tag Examiner
The Tag Examiner is a toll which will help you to inspect the tag contents stored on your music files. You can also open two files and view at the same time to easily be able to compare their tag contents.
The tag information will be grouped in collapsible/expandable groups, one group for each tag format that exists in the file.
Using the Tag Examiner
Select the file which you would like to inspect tags for from the Track List
Start the Tag Examiner from Tags | Examine Tags..
When the Tag Examiner is open, you can load a new file from disc by clicking the Open 1st File... button.
To open a second file to compare the tag contents, click the Open 2nd File... button. When the second file is loaded, the list with tag attributes will be split, so that the 1st file is shown to the left and the second file will be shown to the right.
