Introduction to downloading information
The Download Information dialog is used when downloading different kind of information for artist, albums or tracks.
Using the Download Information dialog
The Download Information dialog is shown on any of the occasions below:
When downloading Album Information, Artist Information, Lyrics or Track Information from the Tag Editor.
When downloading Track Information from the Tag Editor (spreadsheet mode).
When downloading Lyrics from the Lyrics3v2 Tag Editor.
When downloading Artist Information from the Artist Browser.
When downloading Artist Information from the Music Information Browser.
When downloading Artist Information from the Edit Artist Information dialog.
When downloading Album Information from the Album Browser.
When downloading Album Information from the Edit Album Review dialog.
When downloading Artist Information the Artist field will be filled in.
When downloading Album Information and Track Information the Artist and Album fields will be filled in.
When downloading Lyrics the Artist, Album and Title fields will be filled in.
You should modify any of these fields if there is any misspelling. These three fields are vital for the download process to be able to accurately find the correct information.
Enable or disable the Verbose Mode option depending on your preference. When this option is turned on a confirmation dialog will be shown for each time you download information. This will let you verify that the downloaded result is the result you wanted. By turning this option off you will leave this decision to the plug-in. If an exact hit it found - based on the Artist, Album and Title information - the information will be downloaded, otherwise nothing will be downloaded.
If the Overwrite Mode is enabled, all previous information will be overwritten by the downloaded information. No previous information will be removed if the downloaded information is empty. If this option is disabled, the downloaded information will be merged with the previous information and all existing information will be kept.
Selected Download Information
This is where you select what you want to download. Depending on the place where you executed the Download process, different options will be enabled.
Download Details
Detailed information for the selected option in the Selected Download Information box is shown here. Depending on the selected Download Information, different details will be displayed in the Download Details box.
Click the Advanced button to configure the details in the Advanced Download Options dialog.
