Import Music Information Browser Data

Introduction

This dialog allows you to import data exported with the Export Music Information Browser Data function in the Database Management dialog.

Using the Import Music Information Browser Data dialog

First select the kind of data you want to import, you can choose the following:

• Artists
  All artists with pictures, biographies and more will be imported, if an artist with the same name already exist in the database you import into, the information will be merged.

• Relations
  All Relations between artists will be imported.

• Albums
  Only albums downloaded as discographies for artists with the Music Information Browser and albums of user entered items will be imported.

• Publishers
  All publishers with pictures, profiles and more will be imported, if a publisher with the same name already exist in the database you import into, the information will be merged.

• Styles
  Genre styles and genre categories will be imported.

• Genres
  All Genres and their genre definition will be imported.

• User entered items
  All user entered items entered with the Add Vinyl/Cassette dialog will be imported.

Then browse to the file you exported with the Export Music Information Browser Data function in the Database Management dialog and click the Import button.
