Volume Properties

Introduction

The Volume Properties dialog shows information about a Volume.

Using the Volume Properties dialog

1. Make sure the Music Library is visible.

2. Make sure the Left Sidebar is visible.

3. Browse through the Collection/Volume () item, right-click a Volume and select Properties.

The Volume Properties dialog shows the following information:

• The name of the Volume (editable)

• The icon used for the Volume (editable)

• The number of tracks in the Volume.

• The creation date of the Volume.

• The date when the Volume was last synchronized or 'Never' it has never been synchronized.

Select a path and click the Move to Volume button to move a Volume Root Path to another Volume. Read more about how collections and volumes work in the About Collections and Volumes help section.

You can automatically create multiple new Volumes for Volume Root Paths. This is done by selecting a Volume Root Path in the list and then clicking the Split Root button . This will show the Split Volume Root dialog.
