The Music Library is a very
powerful view available in Helium Music Manager. The Music Library
enables you to work with several different groupings in order to manage
your files in the best possible way. The following groupings are available
in the Music Library:
This predefined grouping lets you browse all the tracks contained in your database as in the standard Windows explorer; with the exception that only the folders where you have files in will be shown. This is a very effective grouping to use when you are tagging albums/releases that you have in an existing folder structure on your disc.
This predefined grouping is similar to the My Folders grouping, with the exception that it will allow you to browse all of you files and folders from all of your discs. This grouping does not use Helium Music Managers database, instead it is working directly with the file system. This grouping also allows you to view more than just your audio files. For example, it will be possible for you to view pictures, CUE files and anything you prefer. You can define which additional file types that should be shown from Options.
Playing History is a powerful grouping which enables you to browse files (that have been added to the database) you have played using Helium Music Manager. Played items are be grouped in Year/Month/Day.
Select one of the sub items to view any duplicates matching the selected expression. This is a quick and effective way to locate duplicates stored in your Helium Music Manager database.
This grouping lists any untagged items (items without information) in the following sub-groupings: Title, Artist, Album, Genre, Rating, Mood, Situation, Tempo, Release Type, Recording Year, Release Year and Quality.
The Artist/Group Relations grouping allows you to explore artists/groups
and their related artists/groups.
Artist/Group relations are created in the Music
Information Browser.
