The Summary pane

Introduction to the Summary pane

The Summary pane shows information of selected artists, albums and tracks.
 
Information displayed in the Summary pane is divided into several groups of which some can be expanded or collapsed.

Using the Summary pane

The Summary pane is shown in the Right Sidebar. To view the Summary pane, make sure the Right Sidebar is visible and click on the Summary tab at the bottom of the Right Sidebar:

Album Information

The following information is displayed in the Summary pane when an album is selected from the Album Browser:

• Album picture
• Album title (linked to the Music Information Browser)
• Artist
• Release Year (linked to the Music Information Browser)
• Publisher (linked to the Music Information Browser)
• Length of album
• Genres (linked to the Music Information Browser)
• Album Rating (overlay on album picture)
• Release Type (overlay on album picture)

Track Information (single)

The following information is displayed in the Summary pane when a single track is selected in the track list:

• Album picture

• Title, subtitle and remix (linked to the Music Information Browser)

• Artist (linked to the Music Information Browser)

• Release Year (linked to the Music Information Browser)

• Publisher (linked to the Music Information Browser)

• Track Length

• Genre (linked to the Music Information Browser)

• CD (current and total)

• Track (current and total)

• Album (linked to the Music Information Browser)

The following tasks are available in the Tasks section:

• Enqueue and Play
• Enqueue Next
• Enqueue Last
• Edit Tags
• Edit Tags (Spreadsheet Mode)
• Edit Album Review (available Album Information only)
• Analyze File (available in Track Information only)
• View Album Cover (available Album Information only)
• Explore Source Folder

The following information is shown in the File Properties section:

• Filename
• Path
• Modified date
• Format
• Size
• Bitrate
• Length
• Frequency

The following information is shown in the Biography section (if a biography is available for the artist of the selected track):

• Artist Picture
• Biography

The following information is shown in the Lyrics section (if lyrics is available for the selected track):

• Lyrics

Track Information (multiple)

The following information is displayed if two or more tracks are selected:

• The number of tracks selected
• Total Size
• Total Length
• Average Bitrate
• Average Size
• Average Length
• Average Rating

Note:

• Biography can be added to Artists from the Edit Artist Information dialog.
• Lyrics can be added to tracks using the Tag Editor.
