Introduction to the Music Library Filter
The Music Library Filter lets you limit the number of items shown when
browsing the Music Library.
Using the Music Library Filter
- Show the Music Library.

Show the Music Library Filter using any of methods below:
- Click the View | Music Library Filter
option from the main menu.
- Click the Views | Music Library Filter
menu option on the main toolbar.
- Optionally select Library and/or
Volume from the Library drop down list.
- Select a field to filter on from the Filter
drop down list.
- Specify the filter details in the Arguments
fields.
- Click the Apply button to apply
the filter.
Note:
- Click the Reset button to reset
the filter to show all albums.
Using stored queries in the Music Library Filter
Click the
Advanced... 
button to load a stored
Advanced
Query, created in the
Query
Editor.
Advanced
Queries extends your filtering possibilities since it is much more flexible
when it comes to which and how many fields that should be used for filtering.
When
a Advanced Query is loaded to the filter, the filter will look like the
image below:
To
apply the filter, click the
Apply
button. If you would like to edit or load a new Advanced Query, click
the
Edit... button to open the
Query Editor with the active query.
Click
the
Reset button to revert the
filter back to normal mode.
