The Edit Publisher Dialog - Music Information Browser 

Introduction

This dialog contains controls to edit the publisher's image, web page, country and profile.

Publisher Properties

Enter or edit a URL for the Publisher's web page. Clicking the browse icon () will launch your web browser to display the publisher's web page.

Note:

• If there is no URL specified then clicking the browse button takes no action.

Enter or edit a Home Country for the Publisher either by typing in text or selecting a country previously entered from the pull-down menu.

Enter or edit text for the Publisher's profile. The text can be formatted using the bold () and italic buttons () (or right mouse click context menu - 'Bold' and 'Italic' entries). To format the text, select the text using the mouse as normal and then click the required formatting button or context menu entry. To remove formatting, select the text for which you want to remove formatting and click the remove button () (or right mouse click context menu - Remove Formatting entry).

The links button () enables you to create hyperlinks from words in the text to other Music Information Browser pages. The links function is also available from the right mouse click context menu.

You can create links to the following Music Information Browser pages:

• Artist page
• Album page
• Genre page
• Publisher page
• Year page

To create a link, select the text using the mouse as normal and then click the links button () (or right mouse click context menu entry) and select required create link function. The functions are:

• Create Artist Link
  The Select Link dialogue is displayed with a list of all artists in the database. The dialogue will attempt to navigate to the artist identified in the text that is being linked from. Select the artist you want to link to and click OK. The link will be created in the profile text.
• Create Album Link
  The Select Album dialogue is displayed with a list of all albums in the database. Select the album you want to link to and click OK. The link will be created in the profile text.
• Create Genre Link
  The Select Link dialogue is displayed with a list of all genres in the database. The dialogue will attempt to navigate to the genre identified in the text that is being linked from. Select the genre you want to link to and click OK. The link will be created in the profile text.
• Create Publisher Link
  The Select Link dialogue is displayed with a list of all publishers in the database. The dialogue will attempt to navigate to the publisher identified in the text that is being linked from. Select the publisher you want to link to and click OK. The link will be created in the profile text.

Note:

• The Select link dialogue has a quick navigation feature; pressing a character on the keyboard will cause the list to jump to artists whose names start with that character. This does not apply to the Select Album dialogue.

To remove a link, first select the text that you want the text removed from, then either click the links button () (or right mouse click to get the context menu) and select Remove Link. This will remove the link from the selected text.

When you have completed the addition or updating of your text, click OK to save the updated profile. Alternatively, you can click 'Cancel' to return to the position you where in prior to editing the profile.
