The Genre Page - Music Information Browser

Introduction

This page contains information about the genre and lists major artists that have music tracks in that genre. It also shows active years for the genre and what category/style it belongs to. A section with artist/group highlights is shown with up to five artists. At the bottom there is a graph that shows the genres development over years.

The genres category and style is shown here also the active years for the genre and how many percent this genre is of your total collection.

Tasks

Click the Edit Profile link to open the Edit Genre dialog, in that dialog you can edit the genre definition and set the category/style for the genre, you can also delete or create new categories and styles in this dialog.

You can also use the Edit | Edit Genre Definition menu option to access the Edit genre dialog.

Overview

This tab displays the following information:

Artist/Group Highlights - This section shows up to five artists with pictures which have songs in the genre. Clicking the images will show the Artist Page.
Most Played Tracks - This section displays the most played tracks from this Genre
Related Genres - This section shows other genres that has the same style as the genre you are viewing. Click on the genres to view their genre page.
