Manage Artists

This dialog let you Rename or Delete Artists that does not exist in your collection, this list often contains artists that has been downloaded as a relation to another artist in your collection and misspelled artist names that you have corrected through the tag editors.

Managing artists

This dialogs use is for garbage collection purposes primarily, it can also be used to rename artists that you don't have any tracks from, for example if they has the wrong casing.

Grayed items are in use for example in a relation to another artist and cannot be deleted with this dialog, they have to be removed from the relation first.  

Note:
This dialog cannot be used to merge the same artist spelled differently.
