Remove Tags

Helium can easily remove entire tags or selected tag fields from files.

Removing all tags

1. Select the files that you want to remove all tags from.
2. Click the Edit > Advanced > Remove Tags > All Tags menu.

Note:

• If the selected files have more than one tag and you only want to remove one of them, select the tag that you want to remove from the list
• All tags will be removed without any warnings.
• This procedure cannot be undone. Take care when removing all tags from files.

Removing specific tag fields

1. Select the tracks that you want to remove tag fields from the track list.
2. Click the Edit > Advanced > Remove Fields menu and select the tag field you want to remove from the selected tracks.

Note:
This operation cannot be undone.
