Track Details
The Track Details shows detailed information about the tracks in your library. The track details supports displaying of all contents that are stored within Helium Music Manager's library. You can easily enable or disable individual columns to make the view suit your needs.
Selecting tracks
- Select multiple tracks in the track list by first clicking on one track, holding down the CTRL key on your keyboard and clicking on additional tracks.
- You can also click on the first track you want to select, then hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard and click on the last track and all tracks between will be selected and all other tracks will be deselected.
- Deselect an individual track (that is already selected) by holding down the CTRL key on your keyboard and clicking on the track you want to deselect.
- You can select all tracks in the track list by pressing CTRL-A on your keyboard.
The Content Filter
You can filter the track list by using the Content Filter. The Content Filter filters the contents shown in the track list according to your selected criteria.
Removing tracks from the database
You can remove tracks from the database and/or your computer by selecting some tracks in the track list and then by using one of the methods below:
- Right click on one of the selected tracks and select Send To > Recycle Bin (Remove).
- Click on File > Remove... from the main menu.
- Press Delete on your keyboard.

By right clicking in the track details you can reach many useful functions.
Note:
- You can modify which columns to show in the track list from the Change Columns dialog, found under the View > Columns > Change Columns... option in the main menu.
- You can sort the columns in the track list by clicking the column headers or from the Track Details Sorting dialog, found under the View > Columns > Change Sorting... option in the main menu.
- You can hide the Left Sidebar and/or the Right Sidebar in order to maximise the viewable area available for the track list.
- You can copy or move tracks to any other application, your Desktop, a folder in Windows Explorer etc. by using drag'n'drop. Just select one or more tracks and move (to copy) or SHIFT-move (to move) files outside of Helium Music Manager. You can also drag'n'drop tracks inside of Helium Music Manager, to the Active Playlist or to several items in the Music Explorer.
- You can quickly change the active column template by right clicking on the column header and select the columns submenu item. All available column templates are shown under this menu. Click a column template to load it.
