Track List sorting and grouping

You can specify how you want your music tracks sorted and grouped by specifying the sort criteria and an optionen field to group on for the track list.

You can specify three different sort criterion and grouping field and choose between an ascending or descending order.

Using the Sorting and Grouping dialog

Enter the Sorting and Grouping dialog either by clicking the View > Columns > Change sorting and grouping... menu or by right clicking on the Track Details column headings and selecting Change sorting and grouping... from the context menu.
Select an optional field to group the track list on by the Group On drop down list. Change the Ascending to Descending order if wanted.
Select the first sort criterion from the Sort By drop down list and choose between ascending or descending sorting.
Optionally select the second and third sort criterion from the two Then By drop down lists and choose between ascending or descending sorting.
Click OK.

Note: The sorting criteria defined in this dialog are remembered until you modify them or if you click on a column header in the track list. When clicking on a column header in the track list, the new sorting criteria is remembered until you switch view (which will always revert to the settings set in the Sorting and Grouping dialog) or enter the Sorting and Grouping dialog and click OK.
