Update Library
The Update Library tool updates your library to reflect changes to the files on your computer. Use Update Library when you want to make sure that the library information is up-to-date with the files on your computer.
If files have been added or removed from your computer from outside of Helium Music Manager, you will be unable to view these files from the program until your library has been updated.
Using the Update Library tool
- Click on File > Update Library... from the main menu.
- Select the folders that you want to update by clicking the check box to the left of the folders.
- Click OK to start updating the selected folders.
Note:
- Click Show Advanced to display advanced options
- Select the Remove Unavailable Items from Library option to remove files from the database that are currently in your database but can't be found on your computer.
- Select the Force a Library update from all files option to force files in the selected folders to be updated (even though the time stamp says that they are not modified since the last synchronization) or added to the database.
