Offtopic this isn't exactly the place, but with a bunch of audiophiles, i figured people here would know. in a track name if it has (#) after it, what does that mean. i know if it has (*) that means bonus track. just not sure about the other one.
Looks like nobody knows. I don't think that there is any kind of "standard" that defined things like this, but it may be that some "warez" groups use a system like this. As you said, this isn't exactly the place...
i was just giving an example, its been on ripped cds, cddb, freedb, it seems pretty universal so i thought since this is the main forum i visit and people here are interested in music that somebody might know.
